Veteran Prevost Car Inc. executive Gaetan Bolduc is the new president and CEO of the Canadian producer of coach shells for the highline motorhome and specialty conversion industries, replacing Georges Bourelle, who retired effective March 31.
Bolduc, who was executive vice president until replacing Bourelle on Jan. 1, began his career at Prevost in 1982 as a technician. He worked his way up the corporate ladder from there, becoming manager of industrial engineering, methods and tooling in 1986, vice president of production and material in 1993 and executive vice president of operations in 1998.
As executive vice president, he was responsible for all engineering and R&D since 2001.
“Over the past few years, we’ve put a lot of effort into protecting the value of the investments our customers have made in our organization and in our products,” Bolduc said. “I’m happy to say that this strategy has paid off handsomely. We fully intend to go forward in much the same way.”
Prevost, based in Saint-Claire, Quebec, is jointly owned by Volvo Bus Corp. of Sweden and Henly’s Group PLC of the U.K.
It produces four models for the bus and specialty conversion markets: the LeMirage XL II; the LeMirage XL II with dual slideouts; the LeMirage XL II Entertainer and the Prevost H3-45.
