Nappanee, Ind.-based Newmar Corp. introduced an authentically different All Star “cycle hauler” SURV floorplan this week (Aug. 7-13) at the 66th Sturgis (S.D.) Motorcycle Rally. Designed to carry two Harley-size large motorcycles, the cycle hauler floorplan features twin rear slideouts with manual rear-loading ramps to allow bikes entry to the slideout rooms. Built on a 34,500-pound GVWR mid-engine Spartan ME chassis equipped with a 350-hp Cummins diesel engine, the new A-body’s slideout rooms close after the motorcycles are loaded. “This floorplan was specifically developed with the idea that those traveling with larger motorcycles want a motorhome they can use to enjoy their hobby,” said John Sammut, vice president of sales and marketing. The garage, partitioned from the living area, features stainless steel overhead cabinets, rear-cap storage and two flush-mounted flip-down countertops. The 2007 All Star lineup starts from an MSRP of $232,876.
