Newmar Corp. has partnered with the founders of RVFamilyFun.com to launch the “All Star Road Trip,” a nationwide tour promoting the Nappanee, Ind., manufacturer’s mid-engine All Star motorhome and the consumer-oriented website.
According to a press release, website founders Craig McHugh and Eddy Siroin purchased All Star coaches and will be traveling with their families across the U.S. for the next two years.
“The All Star is a different kind of motorhome and taking a different approach to market this brand seems very appropriate,” said John Sammut, Newmar vice president of sales and marketing.
One of the coaches will be wrapped with bold yellow and red graphics that highlight the features of the RV, including the rear bunk beds. The other RV is covered with decals showcasing the aspects of the joint venture.
“When we started RVFamilyFun.com, we wanted to go out on the road and really live the RV lifestyle,” said McHugh, publisher of the website which gives RVers a forum to rate RV services and campgrounds. “Newmar has made that dream much easier with All Star’s family-friendly floorplan.”
The All Star 3950 floorplan, built on Spartan Chassis Inc.’s mid-engine chassis and powered by a 350-hp Cummins ISL engine, was introduced at last year’s RVIA Trade Show in Louisville, Ky.
