The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued recall notices for the following products related to the recreational vehicle industry:
• 68 Gulf Stream (2007-2008) Crescendo, Tour Master and Yellowstone motorhomes built on Freightliner chassis. The AAC front axle steering arm bolts with a latch lever pivot bolt assembly may have been over-tightened.
• 57 Forest River (2007-2008) motorhomes built on Freightliner XC chassis and equipped with SAF-Holland rear suspensions. In some instances the transverse beam was not properly welded.
• 64 Newmar 2009 All Star Mid-Engine, Dutch Aire Diesel Pusher, Dutch Star Diesel Pusher, Essex Diesel Pusher, Mountain Aire Diesel Pusher, and Ventana Diesel Pusher motorhomes built on Spartan motorhome chassis. Certain chassis fasteners may fracture.
• 1,040 Winnebago (2008) Itasca Cambria, Impulse, Spirit, and Winnebago Access, Aspect, Outlook, and (2009) Chalet motorhomes built on 2008 Ford E450 chassis because the vehicle certification label reflects the incorrect tire pressure.
• 69 Four Winds (2008) Presidio 360, Mandalay, and (2008-2009) Presidio 400 motorhome chassis equipped with SAF-Holland ADL Series rear suspensions. In some instances the transverse beam was not properly welded.
• 226 Fleetwood (2008-2009) American Allegiance, American Eagle, American Heritage, American Tradition, Bounder, Bounder Diesel, Discovery, Excursion, Expedition, Fiesta LX, Pace Arrow, Providence, Revolution LE, Southwind, Class A motorhomes, and Icon, Jamboree, Jamboree GT, Jamboree Sport, Pulse, Tioga, and Tioga Ranger Class C motorhomes. These motorhomes’ occupant and cargo carrying capacity were calculated incorrectly allowing additional load carrying capacity.
• 152 Monaco (2006-2008) Holiday Rambler Arista, Atlantis, and Safari Passage and Ivory motorhomes. There is an error in the routing of the LP line from below and through the main floor and the slide-out floor.
• 156 Jayco (2009) Recon, Eagle, and Designer fifth-wheel trailers. An electrical short can occur if the metal terminal rubber crimp cap was not installed correctly.
• 419 KZRV (2008) Inferno fifth-wheel toy hauler trailers equipped with Lippert suspension hangers. These suspension hangers may be at risk of premature wear or failure.
• 65 Country Coach (2008-2009) Allure, (2008) Inspire and Tribute motorhomes equipped with Caterpillar C9 diesel engines. The fuel pump outlet check plug may be cracked.
• 14 Airstream (2008-2009) Interstate Class B vans built with factory installed driver and passenger seat swivel mechanisms. These vans fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 207, “Seating Systems.”
• 2,990 Keystone (2008) Everest, (2008-2009) Hornet, Laredo, Sprinter and Outback Loft fifth-wheel and travel trailers because the intermediate side marker lights are missing.
