EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is the latest list of RV and RV-related recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling 102,159 2025-2026 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, F-550 SD, F-600, 2026 F-150, and F-750 SD vehicles. The analog cluster’s tachometer and speedometer may become stuck or move erratically, providing inaccurate readings to the driver. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) Number 101, “Controls and Displays.” Dealers will replace the instrument cluster modules, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed in October 26, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated in December 2026. K.Z., Inc. (K.Z.) is recalling 391 2026-2027 SportTrek Fifth Wheel recreational trailers. The charge line may not have circuit protection. Dealers will inspect and reconfigure the wiring as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 12, 2026. Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling 373 2024-2027 Spartan RV Chassis K2 vehicles. The remote fuel filter hoses may separate from the fitting, causing a fuel leak and an engine stall. Cummins will replace the fuel hoses, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 20, 2026. Alliance RV, LLC (Alliance) is recalling 3,686 2025-2027 Valor and 2026-2027 Delta recreational trailers equipped with certain power seating assemblies. The power cord fuse may not provide adequate circuit protection. Dealers will replace the power cord, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 7, 2026. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling 738 2026-2027 Cedar Creek recreational trailers. The slide switch may have been installed without proper overcurrent protection. Dealers will re-route the 12V slide switch wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 15, 2026. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling 745 2026-2027 Campsite Reserve travel trailers. The backer material to secure the refrigerator in place may fail. Dealers will install more backer material, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 28, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-260-499-2100. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling 215 2023-2026 Pause travel trailers. The incorrect connector was used to secure the 12 volt solar panel wires.
