Elkhart, Ind.-based ASA Electronics has added Nic Kesterke to its engineering department. As the newest CAD designer, Kesterke will be responsible for 3D modeling, 2D product drawings, rapid prototyping as well as assisting with product development projects.
“Nic has a solid background in electro-mechanical assembly design as well as thorough training and knowledge of SolidWorks,” stated Jerry Maffetone, ASA vice president of engineering, in a press release. “We are confident that Nic will be a key contributor to our expanding product development team and will thrive in our fast-paced environment.”
Previously, Kesterke worked at Stonegate Designs in St. Joseph, Mich., as a design engineer where he was responsible for custom lighting for residential and commercial applications.
Kesterke earned a bachelor’s drafting and Design from Southwestern Michigan College where he also attended multiple seminars for SolidWorks training, a software that will be utilized in his new position.
