Norcold Inc. looks to be adding to its Sidney, Ohio, facility, according to a report in the Dayton Business Journal.

Norcold received a Shelby County building permit to build a new storage facility for refrigerator parts.

The commercial addition project, valued at $636,000, is contracted to Sidney-based Ferguson Construction.

The addition at the company’s 600 S. Kuther Road facility could be a reflection of the improving RV industry, which has been seeing climbing sales. RV makers were devastated during the recession but have been making a comeback, reaping the benefits of low gas prices and interest rates.
