Hitting the open road doesn’t have to be a stripped-down affair.

The Toledo Blade reported that this weekend visitors will have a chance to peruse more than 100 RVs from the country’s top manufacturers during the 54th annual Camp and Travel Family RV Show, which unfolds Friday through Sunday at the SeaGate Convention Centre in downtown Toledo and is hosted by the Northwest Ohio RV Dealers.

Some of the RVs will be modest, while others will likely rival your current home for amenities.

“It’s like one-stop shopping under one roof,” said Dave Brown, the event’s show coordinator.

In addition to more than 100 units from American manufacturers on display in one building, the weekend will showcase more than 30 exhibitors such as RV dealers and manufacturers and suppliers and campgrounds from nearby states. As for the RVs themselves, guests can walk through and inspect some of the most modern units on the market today.

“Once you’re looking at an RV you can look for a place to camp,” Brown said. “It’s a great opportunity for our guests to come and look at the different RVs and for people who haven’t been exposed to RVs and are thinking about it.”
