During the first week in October, Northwood Manufacturing Inc. held its Dealer Appreciation and Product Showcase to show its latest product offerings and innovations. According to a press release, dealers from all over the Western United States and Western Canada converged on the Wildhorse Resort in Pendleton, Ore., for the multiday event. Events included golfing, catered meals, sales and marketing presentations and new product displays.
Donald Cochran, national director of sales for La Grande, Ore.-based Northwood, told dealers, “We are gathered here to celebrate our team approach, working with our dealer-family to refine our products to continue to satisfy today’s consumer as well as perpetuate strong sales and profitability for our dealer partners. We are constantly striving to improve our products and are excited to have all of our brands on display here today featuring some of our latest upgrades to gain valuable dealer feedback. We have always been, and always will be, open and dependent to dealer input. In this way, we give ourselves the best of all worlds; the continuous evolution of value-added features and options coupled with Northwood’s time-tested quality, making for an unbeatable combination in the marketplace.”
The company announced three major product revisions including:
• The popular Arctic Fox line of travel trailers and fifth-wheels has undergone several changes including completely redesigned fiberglass caps and exterior graphics. Northwood reported that the new look was well received by dealers. The builder also introduced a cathedral arched ceiling now featured in every Arctic Fox unit.
• Northwood showed its “Made to Play Hard” Desert Fox toy hauler line, boasting two all-new fifth-wheel floorplans. The models sport a new “DFox – Extreme X” exterior graphic package and an eye-catching front fiberglass cap. Also showcased were completely reworked interior decor ensembles including new floor coverings, crown-molded light soffits and a cathedral arched ceiling. Value-added features include a standard 40-gallon, on-board fuel system, state-of-the-art three-zone touch screen audio system with subwoofer and amp, and stainless steel appliances.
• The Snow River “Rugged Lite” travel trailer line offers lightweight, laminated, welded aluminum-framed construction with eye-catching exterior features coupled with a warm, rustic cabin-feel interior. Northwood said dealers were drawn to the Snow River’s newly redesigned front cap and exterior graphic package.
Northwood COO Ward King and CEO Jim Jones were on hand throughout the event and were able to spend one-on-one time with all dealers attending. King noted, “Northwood’s objective is to provide our dealers and the end user with the best built and featured towable products in the market. Northwood’s reputation of providing dependable, high-value recreation vehicles by insisting upon quality components and demanding quality craftsmanship from our dedicated production line workers has been earned over time and remains our highest priority.”
