A business park in a Dayton, Ohio, suburb will be offering “upscale storage suites” this summer, catering to owners of large recreational vehicles, classic cars and boats.
According to the Dayton Business Journal, developers Greg Thompson and David Nianouris are spending more than $3 million on the Forrer Pointe Business Park. The 7-acre development will feature a 20,000-square-foot office building, 26,000 square feet of large, heated luxury storage suites and 6,000 square feet of smaller storage suites.
Thompson feels the increasing number of people willing to purchase $200,000 motorhomes will pay for a convenient and secure place to store their vehicles.
“There are a lot of people who have a motorhome, motorcycle or an antique car and don’t want to add a garage to their house,” Thompson said, noting three units had already been sold.
The 22 larger suites cost between $75,000 and $85,000, while the 12 smaller storage suites start at $17,000.
