Omega RV announced it plans to bring 150 manufacturing jobs to Caldwell, Idaho.

The Idaho Press-Tribune reported that production has started at the former KIT Manufacturing Co. facility, which produced recreational vehicles for more than 67 years before closing. Omega announced in November that it purchased the intellectual properties, equipment and materials at the KIT Manufacturing plant.

There are plans to open an additional plant next to the KIT property within 12 months and more than 25 manufacturing jobs have been created so far. More jobs will be added as production increases, according to the company. The company will focus on travel trailers, fifth wheels and toy haulers.
