Startup Caldwell, Idaho-based Omega RV announced the launch of the Toxic toy hauler line, representing the company’s second offering along with Road Ranger travel trailers.
“The Toxic product combines things that we feel are important to the consumer,”stated Don Day, general manager and partner in a press release, noting the Toxic has a dry weight of 5,900 pounds fully equipped.
Other features include a 5,000-plus pound payload, 10-foot and 13-foot garage areas, 116 gallons of fresh water, and a 38-gallon fuel tank and pump station with a 4,000-watt Onan generator.
“But most importantly we focused on an aggressive never-seen-before architecture and styling. I believe the finish product speaks for itself,” said Scott Thorpe, vice president and partner.
The company also noted that expansion of its manufacturing facilities is ongoing with additional floorplans and products planned for release at the upcoming Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) show in Pomona, Calif.
In November, 2014, Omega RV purchased the intellectual properties of the former KIT production plant, which produced recreational vehicles for more than 67 years before closing, along with all equipment and materials.
