The success of the Go RVing national advertising campaign and RVIA’s public relations programs in raising consumer awareness about RV travel will be the focus of two informative presentations during Outlook 2007, the all-industry breakfast kicking off the 44th National RV Trade Show on Nov. 28 in Louisville, Ky.
In “Here We Grow Again!” Go RVing Co-Chairmen Don Walter and Tom Stinnett along with RVIA’s Gary LaBella will report on the strong first-year results of the Phase IV “What Will You Discover? Go RVing” national advertising campaign. An expanded media plan and other program enhancements will also be announced.
RVIA Public Relations Committee Chairman B.J. Thompson will then team with LaBella to review industry media coverage over the past year and bust some common misconceptions about the industry in “Myths, Truths & Videotape.” The report culminates with “RVTV,” a highlight reel of the best in broadcast RV news and entertainment.
RVIA President Richard Coon will also discuss short- and long-term trends for the industry as well as how RVIA is working to ensure that manufacturers, suppliers and dealers continue to prosper.
Hosted by RVIA Chairman Carl Pfalzgraf, Outlook 2007 will feature several special guest appearances, including Lassie’s Jon Provost, who played Timmy; American Idol’s Celena Rae; NBC Today travel guru Peter Greenberg; “Ultra Marathon Man” Dean Karnazes; PBA Tour bowler Walter Ray Williams; and poker star Mark Hanna.
Outlook 2007: Market Expansion Showcase, taking place in the South Wing Ballroom at the Kentucky Exposition Center, begins at 6:15 a.m. with a sit-down breakfast. Admission to the event is free for show attendees. Space is limited with seating offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
