A retired grandmother, who is raising her four granddaughters, was presented with an RVing package on the CBS Early Show as part of the program’s “Week of Wishes” program.
Peggy King re-entered the world of parenting after her daughter died of cancer six years ago. A letter submitted to the show by one of her granddaughters was chosen by the morning news show.
King, who has dreamed of taking the girls traveling in an RV, was presented with six free weeks of rentals in a 31-foot motorhome from California-based El Monte RV.
Kampgrounds of America (KOA) also is providing space for one year at any of their 500 campgrounds across the country.
In addition, ExxonMobil handed King a gas card valued at $2,000 and Costco donated a cash card for supplies to be used at any of their warehouses.
