If you love the outdoors but hate pitching a tent, “glamping” may be exactly what you have been looking for.
The Little Arrow Outdoor Resort in Townsend, Tenn., will soon open with nine park models that bring the comforts of home to the great outdoors, according to WBIR.
“Glamping is being outdoors and enjoying the outdoors with your family and your friends but having all the comforts of home, plus a little extra,” said Carmen Simpher, one of the owners of the Little Arrow Outdoor Resort. “You have air conditioning, you have a bed, you’re very comfortable.”
The campground is taking glamour to a whole new level, meshing nature with a nice hotel.
Nine park models will soon dot the hillside at the resort, each big enough to sleep four people. They are fitted with beds, a full kitchen, Wi-Fi, a bathroom and even a fireplace.
The homes will run around $180 per night when they open.
“This is the best of both worlds. You can be comfortable, a little luxurious, we have all the comforts you could want in any five star hotel,” said Simpher. “You’re not roughing it in these.”
