Richard Parks, president of Nappanee, Ind.-based Newmar Corp., was recently named to the board of directors for the Recreation Vehicle Dealer Association (RVDA) Education Foundation Inc. and will serve a three-year term as manufacturer representative.
“We are pleased to have someone of Richard’s vision on the foundation board,” said Foundation Chairman Rick Horsey, owner of Parkview RV Center, Smyrna, Del. “Richard’s experience as one of the leading executives in RV manufacturing will be an asset to the foundation as we continue to develop the RV Learning Center.”
RVDA reported that in 2004, Newmar Corp. made a $250,000 pledge to the RV Learning Center, bringing the company’s total pledge to $260,000.
