The theme for the 51st Annual Convention of the Pennsylvania Campground Owners Association (PCOA) is “Strategies for Success,” chosen to assist owners and operators in reenergizing and planning for the upcoming season.

The event will run Nov. 9-11 at the Skytop Lodge, a 1920s classic luxury resort in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. PCOA reported that over 70 vendors will be displaying a wide array of product at the show.

According to a press release, more than 12 educational and professional development sessions are planned. The seminars include: Campground industry trends; information security; solving media murder; keeping rental units in top condition; ObamaCare and how it affects the industry; retirement planning; innovative ways to increase site revenue; best store ideas; tying it all together; making improvements people can see. Twelve round table topics will also be held.

PCOA President Jason Vaughan reminds all campgrounds that it is not too late to sign up, noting, “We do encourage out-of-state participation and look forward to a great time networking with everyone.”

The agenda includes the “Fun Auction” on Monday evening, an Annual Banquet set for Tuesday evening and the Communication Awards and keynote speaker on Wednesday.
