Pacific Coachworks Inc. announced it has added a second production line dedicated to manufacturing fifth-wheels at its home base in Perris, Calif.

The company said in a press release that the move was based on increased demand for its recently launched Pacifica fifth-wheel along with the Econ, Mighty Lite, Tango and Panther travel trailers, and Sandsport, Powerlite and Rage’n toy haulers.

PCW also reported that it continued to gain market share in “several major markets,” according to the July sales figures from Statistical Surveys Inc.

“The number of RV units we manufacture has doubled,” said Jeff Daily, general manager for Pacific Coachworks. “We’re delighted to be meeting the demands of our RV dealers and their customers, and gradually gaining RV market share.”
