Philips Products Inc., which operates in six states and makes doors and windows primarily for RVs, will close its doors.

According to a news release from Philips, the majority of its 675 employees nationwide will receive WARN notices Thursday. The exact number of workers at the  plant in Elkhart, Ind., is not known, according to WSJV-TV, South Bend. 

The company also has operated branches in Stayton, Ore., Selinsgrove, Pa., Chester, S.C., and Charksville, Texas.

In the release, Philips President Ron Mason said company management will work with local and state agencies to help the displaced workers and their families.
