Three-year-old Pilgrim International Inc., Middlebury, Ind., will debut the Open Road LS, a midpriced fifth-wheel and travel-trailer series, at the 42nd National RV Trade Show, Nov. 30-Dec. 2, in Louisville, Ky.
With retail prices starting at $28,900, the Open Road LS is a more affordable version of Pilgrim’s Open Road towable with eight 29- to 40-foot floorplans equipped with two to four slideouts.
Reflecting the company’s philosophy of making most features standard, the laminated fiberglass Open Road LS includes standard residential carpeting and upholstery, entertainment centers, solid-oak cabinets, steel-framed furniture, china toilets, exterior showers and enclosed and heated underbellies. Also new for 2005 is the Pilgrim SE, an entry-level towable series in lengths of 19 to 31 feet, retailing for $10,900 to $18,900. The wood-and-aluminum Pilgrim SE features wood cabinet doors, 13,500 Btu, ducted roof air conditioning, porcelain toilets, walk-on roofs and queen beds.
