There’s a chance to double the impact of your contribution when you make a donation to the Mike Molino RV Learning Center during this holiday season. PleasureLand RV Centers, headquartered in St. Cloud, Minn., announced this week that it will match the next $10,000 in donations.

“PleasureLand is pleased to support the RV Learning Center and use our contribution to leverage even greater support, so together we can do even more,” said Dan Pearson, president of PleasureLand RV Centers and vice chairman of the RV Learning Center board, in a press release.

The annual campaign to fund the RV Learning Center began in Las Vegas at the 2014 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo, the biggest education event of the year for dealers and their staff. The goal of the campaign is to bring in enough funding to continue providing high quality affordable professional development and learning resources to help dealerships succeed.  The RV Learning Center also formally launched the new Society of Certified RV Professionals at the convention to support and recognize industry professionals who have earned certification.

An upcoming addition to the RV Learning Center’s many resources is an updated version of the Service Management Guide (SMG), now in its 11th edition. The SMG, also called the flat rate manual, is a critical tool for any service department and the new edition is the culmination of hundreds of hours of work by industry professionals to produce a guide that addresses current technologies.

“Dan Pearson’s generous plan to match contributions is a brilliant way to inspire dealers and others to support the RV Learning Center this year,” said RV Learning Center Chairman Jeff Pastore of Hartville RV Center in Hartville, Ohio. “Coming on the heels of our very successful convention/expo, Dan’s announcement is well-timed, too, and I hope dealers will remember that the value of the convention/expo exceeds whatever we pay to attend thanks to our generous supporters. Dan’s match offers our supporters of our industry yet another way to add value when they donate to the Learning Center.”

Donors can give online or print a donation form at the RV Learning Center website. There are options for customized pledges and ways to schedule donations for your convenience.

The RV Learning Center is supported by dealers, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and other RV industry members committed to dealership education and the high levels of customer service provided by educated employees.
