Park model RV (PMRV) manufacturers showed up in a big way on Monday (Sept. 22) during the annual Elkhart RV Open House in Elkhart, Ind. The Elkhart RV Open House runs through Thursday and is held annually by RV manufacturers as a special way to connect with dealers and book orders for the coming year.
Kropf Industries Inc., Woodland Park, Canterbury RV, Elevation Park Models and Cavco Napanee are the major PMRV manufacturers that have displays open for this year’s event. Innovation was fully on display as PMRV manufacturers were keen to show off their new models, floor plans and features.
One common trend included the development of more two-bedroom models for both the U.S. and Canada. Something manufacturers said they have received more feedback on.
“Two-bedroom models are our top-selling units at the moment,” noted Nick Vargas, park model sales manager for Cavco Napanee
Another continued trend is the demand for household features, including home appliances and construction that offers wood features, shiplap walls, and a modern style that gives users an at-home feel.
“We are staying away from graphics and adding materials like knotty pine walls,” noted Brent Kattau, co-founder of Elevation Park Models.
The best part? All of the manufacturers that Woodall’s Campground Magazine (WCM) spoke with noted that customers are ready to pay top dollar for the unit that they want.
“We are seeing more mature buyers who have a spot they want to park this in, and they know what they want,” noted Trevor Kropf, general manager of Kropf Industries Inc., highlighting the fact that the company’s luxury models are selling really well.
“We are doing more business in our higher-end 7 Series models than in any other segment,” said Kattau. “This is a big purchase, and people want to get creative to get the unit they want.”

“It makes sense, because this is their home away from home,” explained Vargas.
Below are the highlights of the new features and units on display, including small business updates.
CANTERBURY
The Goshen, Ind.-based company, known for its Parkvue and Bayview lines, was displaying a new P38-FFBL Parkvue model. Some of the key features of the company’s Parkvue series include a deluxe headboard and nightstands in the bedroom, two-inch wood blinds throughout and raised panel hardwood cabinet doors.
It was also showing off a Parkvue P38-2BBKL, which included two bathrooms and two bedrooms.
Tyler Steele, co-owner of the business, noted to WCM that its park model business has been a “quiet champion” in 2025 as the company sees strong demand from both the retail and campground markets.
CAVCO NAPPANEE
Vargas was excited to show off Cavco Nappanee’s new Cavco-150 Series 190014 floorplan, highlighted by a large front kitchen.
Another new floorplan on display was the company’s CSA Z241 Country Manor 148044ES, as well as a new layout for the Country Manor 100187S.
Across all four models, Cavco Nappanee introduced a brand-new window design, new black hardwood cabinet doors, a stylish new light fixture, and an upgraded shower.
On top of that, all Cavco Nappanee park models come standard with features like OSB sheathing, 16-inch O.C. joists, fully hardwood cabinet doors and face frames, dovetail drawers, and half-inch vinyl on gypsum.
ELEVATION PARK MODELS
Elkhart, Ind.-based Elevation Park Models continues to grow and notes that business has remained steady.
“We are already booking production into March of 2026,” Kattau noted. “We are encouraging dealers to order as soon as possible so that they can get their units quicker.”
One of the key units on display was a design that Kattau said he had drawn up quickly at home and brought in to show his designers.
The 7 Series 7-119 includes a living room and kitchen to the right of the unit, and a unique stepped-up bedroom to the left, with a standard queen bed. It is highlighted with a wooden ceiling, shiplap walls, a modern style, and a unique slat system for added bedroom privacy.
Another 7 Series model, the 7-108, was highlighted by a front-to-back slope and massive windows at the front of the unit. Knotty pine wood was utilized to create a warmer feel inside the unit, including darker cabinetry and residential-grade appliances.
A king-sized bed in the bedroom, a large bathroom, and plenty of storage areas make the unit feel larger to users.
KROPF INDUSTRIES INC.
Kropf Industries Inc. continues to push the envelope when it comes to designing innovative PMRV, and its new Eldarado 9101PWD is no different.
Featuring a middle porch, something WCM has never seen before in a PMRV, Kropf noted that the unit gives off a resort/vacation feel.
Built to be within the 399-square-foot requirements of the U.S. market, the unit still appears larger than a normal PMRV.
The unit features a large middle porch that includes a fireplace and entertainment area. To the right of the unit is the kitchen, living room area, and half bath, including another fireplace and TV, GE Cafe Appliances, a farmhouse sink, and more.
White shiplap is used throughout the unit, with a wooden ceiling and decorative rafter designed by Etchwood.
To the left of the unit is a large bedroom with a king-sized bed, a private full bath, and a private sliding door that accesses the porch area and offers views of the outdoors.
The exterior of the unit is covered with diamond-coated siding and offers a metal roof and a two-tone paint scheme.

“We have found that diamond-coated siding and porches are a huge driver for us,” said Kropf.
Other eye-catching units on display included the company’s Eldorado 9051 with an eight-foot porch, louvered privacy deck railing, and loft.
The company also had its 80th anniversary Eldorado 9099PWD model on display with an etched glass railing, Nana window and two doors.
While the company also sells PMRVs in its Island and Lakeside Series, it notes that its high-end Eldorado Series continues to grow rapidly.
“When we introduced it four years ago, we were doing maybe one a month,” highlighted Kropf. “Every year the demand for Eldorados has more than doubled, though.”
WOODLAND PARK
Right after the 2024 edition of the Elkhart RV Open House, Woodland Park began developing its new Timber Ridge TR266L.
“We went to the home show in Las Vegas, and it sparked an interest in creating a unit that is both unique and practical,” said Austin Lambright, COO and president of the company.
Entering the unit, you immediately see the kitchen, which features black cabinets, GE Cafe appliances, white subway tile and more. What makes this kitchen unique, though, is its walk-in, hidden pantry with a full pull-out spice rack/storage compartment.
To the right of the unit is a large living room highlighted by a latte slated wall with lights. The unit’s TV is mounted above the kitchen to free up space in the unit.
A loft, bedroom, and bathroom are accessible to the left of the unit.
RV Hunter recently reviewed the unit and Lambright noted that reactions have been great.
