Rear View Safety, a supplier of backup camera systems and safety solutions, is currently marking its 10th year of operation. Founded in 2007, the company has grown to supply some of the largest companies in the world with offices in London, Indiana and Toronto, according to a press release.
In addition to backup cameras, Rear View Safety offers several types of vehicle safety solutions, including backup sensor systems, driver fatigue systems, mobile DVR’s, and dash cameras. Rear View Safety’s also operates a dedicated fleet division.
“Rear View Safety has spent the last 10 years building meaningful relationships and developing the most innovative products on the market. While a decade is a great milestone, we’re looking toward the future by continuing to provide the industry with creative, modern, and affordable safety solutions,” said Rear View Safety Executive Vice President Joseph Schechter.
Being recently acquired by Safe Fleet in mid-2016, a company that manages a large portfolio of industry-leading brands focused on improving operator, pedestrian and driver safety, has only strengthened Rear View Safety’s global reach and influence, the release stated. The recent partnership with Safe Fleet has also allowed Rear View Safety to expand further into new markets.
Rear View Safety continues to focus on providing the rapid adoption of video systems in truck, trailer, commercial van, construction, bus and shuttle, government and municipality, emergency, agriculture, industrial and recreational vehicles, according to the release.
