RecNation Continuing its Growth Across Key U.S. Markets

RecNation, a provider of specialized vehicle storage solutions, is expanding its footprint across key U.S. markets to better serve the growing need for secure storage of RVs, boats, trucks, trailers, fleet equipment, commercial vehicles, and contractor equipment. The company currently operates facilities in strategic locations including Florida, Texas, California, South Carolina, Missouri, Arizona, Tennessee, and Kansas, according to a press release.

Demand for dedicated vehicle storage has surged, driven by increased recreational vehicle ownership, outdoor travel trends, and the storage needs of commercial fleets and contractors. As more consumers invest in RVs, boats, and specialty vehicles, the need for properly equipped storage facilities continues to grow. RecNation has responded by offering solutions tailored specifically for large recreational and commercial vehicles.

“With more Americans investing in outdoor recreation, the need for specialized storage remains high,” said Gary Wojtaszek, founder and CEO of RecNation. “Traditional self-storage facilities are not equipped for RVs, boats, or large commercial vehicles. Our mission continues to be providing secure, convenient storage across our nationwide locations.”

RecNation offers three types of storage: fully enclosed indoor units that shield vehicles from weather, covered spaces offering overhead protection, and open lots that provide a cost-effective parking solution. These options accommodate a range of vehicles, including RVs, boats, trailers, ATVs, trucks, and commercial fleets.

The company also serves businesses with growing storage needs, particularly for contractor equipment, fleet vehicles, truck parking, and other industrial outdoor storage requirements. Its facilities are designed to support both individual vehicle owners and commercial operators looking for scalable, reliable storage options.

“We understand the challenges businesses face in securing reliable storage solutions,” Wojtaszek said. “Our facilities offer dedicated storage designed to meet the diverse needs of recreational users and commercial operators.”

Beyond storage, RecNation provides services such as mobile RV and boat repairs, vehicle cleaning, and managed rental programs that allow customers to earn income from their stored vehicles. These services set the company apart from traditional storage providers.

Security remains a core feature of RecNation’s operations. Locations are equipped with 24-hour surveillance, controlled gate access, and perimeter fencing. Facilities are strategically positioned near major highways, recreational destinations, and commercial hubs for easy access.

Many of RecNation’s locations are based in regions with strong outdoor recreation activity, such as Texas and Florida. The facilities offer essential storage for owners who lack space at home or in their communities.

“Our goal is delivering a seamless and secure storage experience for every customer,” Wojtaszek said. “Whether storing a boat for the offseason, an RV between trips, or commercial fleets, convenience and security remain our top priorities.”

RecNation’s continued growth also aligns with broader investor interest in the industrial outdoor storage (IOS) sector—a space designed specifically for larger vehicles and equipment, distinct from conventional self-storage. As this niche gains traction, RecNation is positioning itself to meet rising demand across both consumer and commercial markets.

Currently operating nearly 70 locations nationwide, the company is actively pursuing new acquisition opportunities to strengthen its position in the specialized storage industry. “The strong market demand reinforces our ongoing strategy,” Wojtaszek said. “We remain committed to enhancing our footprint and serving more customers across new and existing regions.”
