A record 22 candidates are running for the seven seats that are up for reelection for the RV Industry Association’s (RVIA) 2020 board of directors 2020-2022 term.

According to a press release, formal instructions for voting will be emailed to all official reps at member companies on Sept. 3 for the voting period, taking place Sept. 3-29. The open positions are:

  • Three supplier representatives.
  • Two manufacturer representatives.
  • One park model manufacturer representative.
  • One at-large representative.

The board of directors is the highest level of authority in the association’s overall organizational structure and is responsible for setting and overseeing strategy and policy related to critical topics such as standards, marketing, government affairs, trade shows, industry education and association finances.

Winners will be announced in October. All winning candidates will be expected to attend the next board meeting on Nov. 12 taking place during the RV Dealers Association’s 2019 RV Dealers Convention and Expo in Las Vegas for transition and orientation training.

Only one vote per member company is permitted and official reps will have until 5 p.m. (EDT) on Sept. 29 to cast their votes.
