Bob Byrne, director of the Forest River Inc.’s Owners Group (FROG), is seeing strong response for the organization’s upcoming rally, slated for Aug. 9-15 at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds in Goshen, Ind.
“We opened registration for the FROG Rally on March 26 and we were blown away by the response,” said Byrne in a press release. “Within five days our registrations had already exceeded last year’s total attendance of 510 units. The flow has reduced somewhat, but we see no problem with meeting and exceeding this year’s projection of 725 units and 1,500 attendees, about a 40% increase from last year.”
The FROG rally features six nights of camping, 10 meals, live entertainment, vendors and seminars. In addition, attendees can experience Amish Country tours, visits to many of the area’s Forest River production plants, and free RV service from Forest River service technicians and component suppliers.
“We really want people to understand that this event is focused on our customers, who put their trust in Forest River and in our products,” Byrne said. “We appreciate them, and we don’t take their trust lightly. The FROG International Rally is our biggest opportunity for owners to come together with old friends, meet new ones, and celebrate Forest River and the RV lifestyle. At the same time, if there are issues with their RVs, we want to take care of those while they’re here.”
FROG was organized as a division of Forest River just a little over three years ago. In that time it has grown to nearly 40,000 member families, representing every state and province in the United States and Canada. Since its inception, FROG has either organized and conducted, or helped to organize and support, more than 85 events, including tours, rallies, campouts, or dinners, in 28 states and one Canadian province.
