A record amount of exhibit space will be used and record attendance is expected for the 50th California RV Show at the “Fairplex” in Pomona Oct. 11-20, according to the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA), sponsors of the event.
Exhibit space for RV manufacturers is sold-out, although supplier space remains available. Supplier companies interested in exhibiting should contact the RVIA’s Western Regional Office by phone at 909 274 0696.
This year, 52 RV builders will occupy 768,515 square feet of exhibit space. Currently, there are 89 supplier firms signed-up and they will occupy 13,000 square feet.
In total, this year’s Pomona show will exceed the 2001 version of the event by 100,000 square feet of exhibit space, according to Marsha McInnis, show director.
A record 35,000 consumers and 1,000 dealership representatives and industry officials are expected to attend, she added.
To mark the show’s 50th Anniversary, there will be a ceremonial ribbon/cake cutting featuring Country Coach Inc. founder Bob Lee and Fleetwood Enterprises Inc. founder John Crean.
