Holiday RV Superstores Inc., the dealership chain that does business as Recreation USA, has hired Casey Gunnell to be its CFO, replacing Hardee McAlhaney, who resigned in January.
Gunnell, most recently, was CFO of PNV Inc., a Florida-based company that provided telecommunications services to truck drivers. Gunnell helped guide PNV, a publicly traded company, through bankruptcy and the sale of assets, according to a Recreation USA statement.
Gunnell also worked for one year as senior vice president and CFO of AutoNation USA Inc., the predecessor of car dealership chain AutoNation Inc.
Recreation USA President Marcus Lemonis also worked in senior management at AutoNation, a company founded by South Florida entrepreneur Wayne Huizenga.
Recreation USA’s founder Mike Riley, currently the RV and boat dealership chain’s chairman and CEO, also represented Huizenga when he was practicing law.
