Tyler Reddick, sponsored by Cequent Performance Products (CPP), captured his first win on the NASCAR Trucks circuit in the No. 19 Draw-Tite Ford.

According to a press release, the win came in the first race of the season at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, NextEra Energy Resources 250, at Daytona International Speedway. Representatives from Cequent were in attendance along with the company’s Hitch Pros, comprised of top installers and dealers of Cequent products.

Reddick stayed near or at the front of the pack for much of the race, avoiding several wrecks. He was able to build a lead off turn four in the final lap and cross the finish line alone for the victory. This is the first truck series win ever for 19-year-old Reddick and the first win this season for his team, Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR), owned by NASCAR Sprint Cup Champ Brad Keselowski.

“As a sponsor of the No. 19 truck, we are thrilled for Tyler and the BKR team on their victory Friday night,” said CPP President Tom Benson. “It was great to be there to support them and to celebrate the win with not only the racing team, but our ‘Hitch Pros’ as well. We couldn’t have scripted it any better.”

Cequent’s Hitch Pros gather yearly for a conference with CPP to discuss new ideas, new products, and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with decades of doing business together.

“Our participation in racing gives the Draw-Tite brand, and those who carry and install it, added exposure,” said Benson. “Aligning our company with NASCAR and its fans, many of whom are towing enthusiasts, makes the relationship we have with BKR a perfect fit for all involved.”

Reddick’s next race will be on Feb. 28 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, set to air on Fox Sports 1 at 5:30 p.m. EST.
