Topeka, Ind.-based Redwood RV reported that December 2014 shipments increased 165%, capping off a year that included the launch of two new brands, partnerships with new dealers and an “evolution in its design that will keep Redwood at the top of its class.”

The high-end residential fifth-wheel maker also reported in a press release that through Oct. 30, 2014, Redwood retained 28% of market share in its class according to Statistical Surveys Inc., remaining the No. 1 selling luxury fifth-wheel. The growth also reflects increasing demand for luxury fifth-wheels.

Redwood is looking for a strong 2015 as the company posted big numbers at the Florida RV SuperShow in January, selling twice as many units as last year.

“It’s early, but it is shaping up to be a good year,” said Redwood GM Jim Lazzarino. “With our strong lineup of products and innovative floorplans, Redwood is building on its leadership position with dealers and consumers in the luxury fifth-wheel market.”
