Industry personnel interested in attending a March 17-18 Dometic RV technical training class in the Boston area need to register before Feb. 17. To avoid cancellation of the session at least 12 more participants are needed, according to a press release.
The two-day program, set to be held at the Holiday Inn in Mansfield, Mass., will focus on the operation, common issues and accurate diagnosis of a wide range of Dometic/Atwood products. This will include expanded hands-on training, technical discussions and troubleshooting in a modularized format.
The full two-day program will include the following options: air conditioners, refrigerators furnaces and water heaters. Technicians will receive hours towards RV Industry Association (RVIA) certification based off which modules they attend.
The program is designed to educate seasoned and new RV technicians on troubleshooting and repairing Dometic/Atwood products efficiently. The program will also inform technicians of new technology and products as well as common issues experienced in the field. A general base knowledge of basic electricity and also testing equipment is recommended but not required.
