Due to extremely low registration numbers the only remaining Trouble Shooter Clinic scheduled for fiscal year 2009 is in jeopardy of being canceled, according to the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA).
Previously, RVIA canceled three other clinics slated for this fiscal year.
The March 9-13 session, to be held at Ivy Tech College in Elkhart, Ind., currently has eight registrants. RVIA said that it would need 45-50 people to keep the clinic running.
In a release RVIA stated, “While RVIA and its members value the Trouble Shooter Clinics and understand the need for technician training and re-certification credit, it is not cost effective to hold the clinic without sufficient registrations.”
There are no other Trouble Shooter Clinics scheduled before November, 2009, which is part of the fiscal 2010 calendar.
Currently a tentative schedule for the 2010 fiscal year, which is subject to change, includes: November, 2009 – Chattanooga, Tenn.; January, 2010 – Bethlehem, Pa.; February, 2010 – Waco, Tex.; March 2010 – Elkhart.
