ReserveAmerica, the leading provider of online reservations for state and national parks in North America, is working to entice first-time RVers by partnering with Fleetwood Folding Trailers Inc. to offer fold-down rentals through its online reservation service.
“Our customers are looking for unique and convenient ways to enjoy the great outdoors, and our partnership with Fleetwood Folding Trailers enables first-time RVers to experience the RV lifestyle in a convenient single transaction,” said Brendan Ross, president of ReserveAmerica.
ReserveAmerics said participating campgrounds will have the RVs ready-to-use at the designated campsites, eliminating the need for pick-up, drop-off or any previous RV experience.
The program is initially offering Fleetwood’s Sun Valley fold-down, which sleeps six people and comes equipped with a stove, refrigerator, outboard grill, dining table and other optional amenities like air conditioning.
“Working with ReserveAmerica provides Fleetwood Folding Trailers with a powerful marketing channel for our products as well as a convenient trial opportunity for potential customers to experience the quality, convenience and comfort of our products,” said Allan Reeping, national sales manager for Fleetwood Folding Trailers. “This innovative program makes experiencing the RV lifestyle convenient for consumers and provides our national dealer network with a unique and targeted marketing support program.”
The RV rental business has been on the upswing, generating $350 million in revenue in 2005, a 36% over 2004 figures, according to ReserveAmerica.
