REV Group (REVG) debuted the all-new Renegade Valencia “Super C” motorcoach at the Family Motor Coach Association’s (FMCA) March 7-10 convention in Chandler, Ariz. REV acquired Bristol, Ind.-based Renegade in December.
“We have been looking forward to this debut for months. Our team has been dedicated to designing a motorcoach that our customers would be proud to own,” said Mike Lanciotti, vice president and general manager of Renegade RV, in a press release.
REV Sales and Marketing Director Kevin Erdman added, “The Valencia is a family-friendly coach launching in the market at a competitive price. The new ‘Super C’ model has all of the features that Renegade owners have grown to expect – high quality construction, high-end features like solid-cherry cabinets, high towing capacity, large fuel capacity, air-ride seating for driver and passenger and adult-size bunks.”
The Valencia is built on the S2RV chassis from Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC), the first Super-C chassis designed specifically for the RV industry. Features include stainless steel appliances, fully lined exterior storage boxes, three inches of sound and thermal deadening insulation, 10-gallon diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank, 100-gallon fuel tank and a 12,000-pound towing capacity. The coach is powered by a Cummins ISB 360 hp engine with 800 lb. ft. of torque.
The Valencia is available in two floorplans at launch, the 38BB and the 38VRW. The 38BB offers a spacious living area and large bunk beds, while the 38VRW offers a large living area up front with a spacious master suite at the rear of the coach.
“We saw the need for a high-end ‘Super C’ motor coach that offered all the amenities and features for which Renegade has been known,” added Jim Jacobs, president of REV Recreation Group. “This is a high-end product that falls at a price point that offers consumers a real value,” commented Jacobs.
