Rexhall Industries Inc. has issued a clarification concerning the announcement last week about its “Doublewide” Class A motorhome, which the Lancaster, Calif.-based company now calls the T-Rex Double & Wide.
Rexhall reported last week that it developed a new, patented slideout system that will “almost double” the size of a Class A motorhome. The company now says, “Our new line of motorhomes allows the recreational vehicle enthusiast, with the mere push of two buttons, to increase the size of the motorcoach’s interior floorspace that is not obstructed by cabinets, furniture, appliances, etc., to almost double.”
Rexhall did not intend the announcement to convey the message that its new slideout system would expand the size of “the entire motorhome, including chassis, storage boxes, front cab area, front and rear fiberglass caps, entire roof cap and all interior cabinets, etc.”
The T-Rex Double & Wide will debut at the Family Motor Coach Association International Rally near Buffalo, N.Y., beginning July 18.
