Profession racecar drivers Richard Petty and John Andretti are the featured guests at the grand opening today (Nov. 8) of the new facilities at Lazydays RV SuperCenter near Tampa, Fla.

The new facilities include a 300-space RV campground and a 12,000-square-foot clubhouse with banquet facilities for up to 600 people.

In total, the new facilities represent a $16 million investment to expand the 150-acre complex along Interstate-4 in Seffner, Fla.

The new facilities are part of Lazydays’ effort to attract more RV owner’s club rallies, according to the St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times newspaper.

The appearance of the racecar drivers is part of a special $99-for-three-nights package for RV owners, the newspaper reported.

Lazydays recently signed a five-year marketing agreement with Petty’s company, the newspaper added.

The Lazydays campground also is open for $25 a night stays, including breakfast and lunch.

Lazydays, which anticipates having over $600 million in sales revenue this year, is believed to be the world’s largest single-location RV dealership.
