Roadtrek stated in a press release that the builder produced a 67% increase in sales for the month and a 58% increase in year-to-date numbers, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc.
The company reported that its Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Chevrolet Express chassis lines have done well, underscored by Roadtrek’s Sprinter offerings seeing an over 100% increase in retail sales from February 2013 to February 2014 and a 70% increase in year-to-date numbers.
“2013 was a great year for Roadtrek, and we are thrilled at how 2014 is shaping out for us,” said Paul Cassidy, vice president of sales and service. “We introduced a number of exciting new models in the last 12 months that got the market, customers and our dealers excited. After a harsh winter it’s great to see the RV community come alive again with some great retail sales wins.”
Overall, the class B market produced a healthy 33% gain from a year ago February, Roadtrek noted.
