Responding to the RV/MH Heritage Foundation’s Inc.’s “pay-down-the-debt” campaign, “Rollin’ On TV” (ROTV) will be featuring a 30-second promotional spot during its weekly show that showcases the RV lifestyle.
ROTV is aired on 10 cable stations and sports networks including the Dish Network covering 25 states, and is viewed by 300,000 viewers each week.
“After seeing the various individuals and companies donating to the RVMH Hall of Fame Museum we felt that there must be something we could do to help,” said ROTV Executive Producer Jose Moniz, noting that the spots will run through the end of the year. “By running the spots, we will bring awareness to the current fundraising effort.”
The goal is to raise $100,000 in voluntary contributions by Aug. 31 to be matched by the Robert “Boots” Ingram family, which has offered a $100,000 challenge grant for the purpose of lowering the Hall’s debt to 1st Source Bank by $200,000.
As reported by RVBUSINESS.com, Don Wallace, co-founder of Tampa’s Lazydays RV Super Center, and Good Sam Enterprises LLC President and CEO Marcus Lemonis recently made personal donations of $25,000 each.
Newly appointed Hall of Fame President Darryl Searer is confident the goal will be reached, stating, “Phenomenal is the best way to put it. The people who are coming forward and offering assistance have just been more than I could expect.”
