RV Alliance America (RVAA) is changing its name to Aon Recreation Insurance, effective March 1, 2005, to reflect the company’s expansion into other recreation insurance.
In addition to all types of RVs, Aon has expanded its coverage to include boats, motorcycles, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, collector cars and all-terrain vehicles.
Aon Corp., parent company of RV Alliance America, is a Fortune 200 company with 53,000 employees and is a leading provider of risk management services, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, human capital and management consulting, and specialty insurance underwriting worldwide.
According to a press release, RVAA has “built its business on developing and delivering insurance reflective of the unique needs of RV owners.”
“Our customer base has developed over time into recreation enthusiasts of all kinds, and while we’ve offered boat and motorcycle coverage for years, we need a name that truly reflects our product offering,” said Marketing Director Monique Thibodeaux. “But no matter what the name, we’ll continue to be focused on making the purchase of insurance for all types of recreation needs as easy for our customers as it can be.”
Managing Director Susan Corscadden adds, “It’s time our name suggests what we really do – insuring not only our customers’ personal recreation vehicles but also the commercial products such as vendor, exhibitor and event liability that we offer.
“Aon is a world leader in brokering insurance solutions for all types of individuals and businesses, and we’re proud to be carrying the name.”
