It’s been a tough couple of weeks for stock market investors but today (Sept. 26) was a good day for several RV manufacturing company stocks.
One example is Rexhall Industries Inc. which saw its stock price climb 50 cents, or 22%, to close at $2.75 a share.
Before the stock market opened today, Rexhall revealed that independent auditors and attorneys completed a review of its accounting practices and they found no more unpleasant surprises.
A month ago, Rexhall discovered problems with its raw materials inventory accounting, which required the company to restate its first quarter results and report a loss, reversing a previously disclosed profit.
Rexhall shares fell as low as $1.51 a share, a new 52-week low, earlier this week.
Meanwhile, the stock of Thor Industries Inc. gained $1.75 a share today, or 5%, to close at $35.60, and Winnebago Industries Inc. stock climbed $1.55 a share, or 4%, higher today to close at $40.55.
Monaco Coach Corp. stock gained 74 cents, or 4%, today to close at $20.44 and Fleetwood Enterprises Inc. climbed 30 cents, or 5%, higher today to close at $6.30 a share.
