A free webinar scheduled for Oct. 23 at noon EDT will demonstrate how RV dealers can cut down on work injuries and worker compensation claims by implementing a “safety culture.”

According to a press release, the webinar will inform dealers of various ways to achieve this workplace goal of creating a safe and compliant environment. The webinar is presented through a partnership between the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) and online marketing firm KPA as part of the array of educational offerings available through the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.

Register at the KPA website.

In the webinar, Nick Hardesty, KPA’s district manager and a workplace safety expert, will discuss simple steps that can be taken to implement a safety program and warn against specific practices that could ultimately derail efforts.

He will help dealers understand what a safety culture is and how it can be implemented using seven critical steps. In addition, he will give an overview of the current state of workers compensation and explain what is meant by effective safety training.

If unable to attend, register to receive links to the materials for later viewing.
