The RV Family Travel Atlas (RVFTA) podcast network has partnered with Tents for Troops to raise money for the purchase of an RV for use by active military and their families.

In partnership with Tents for Troops, the RVFTA Podcast Network is holding a fundraising effort and has pledged to raise $10,000 to purchase a new travel trailer for the RV Loaner Program. Tents for Troops is a charitable organization that provides free camping opportunities for active military and their families.

“We wanted to do something special to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the RV Family Travel Atlas podcast,” said Stephanie Puglisi, producer and cohost. “For two years we have talked about how camping brings families together and offers a break from the stress of our daily lives. Who needs that more than our active duty military and their families?”

The fundraising initiative was announced on Episode #107 of the RV Family Travel Atlas podcast, and more than $1,000 was raised on the first day. Stephanie and Jeremy Puglisi are offering incentive thank you gifts for $50 and $100 donations, in order to encourage giving at these levels.

Charlie Curry, the founder of Tents for Troops, told the RVFTA Podcast Network that he has many campgrounds willing to participate in the RV Loaner Program, but has had difficulty raising money to purchase a travel trailer.

“We couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate our podcast’s 2nd anniversary than to give back to the very people who keep us safe and make this possible in the first place: our nation’s troops,” said Jeremy Puglisi. We believe in our listeners, and know we can come together to thank our military for their sacrifice.”
