When you pass an RV on the highway, have you ever wondered what it would be like to become a vacation road warrior? If you answered yes, right now is your chance to  explore an endless sea of motorhome options.

WPTV reported that RVing is no longer just for retirees exploring North America, more young people in their thirties and forties are calling themselves RVers. “We’re seeing a lot of younger people getting into the industry, you know trailers, motor homes even. The whole industry has really switched into the younger demographic,” explained Brian Copley, General Manager of Copley’s RV in Hobe Sound, Fla. “I think the younger generation is starting to realize and they have more income that they can use  to do this type of stuff  it’s a really inexpensive way to travel and the memories that you create with your children.”

According to GoRVing.com younger families are spending more time on the road closer to home where they can easily get away to sit in front of a camp fire and hangout under the stars. With more than 16,000 camp grounds nationwide spending a few days in an RV is easy and tech upgrades make having a good time even easier.

“All kinds of new technologies when it comes to electronics and TV just really neat stuff in our industry,” Copley added. But it’s not just TV’s. It’s washers and dryers neatly tucked away in cabinets, full sized refrigerators, lights that works at the touch of  a button, shades that work on a remote and of course a fireplace. According to Copley, “the younger generation is looking for bunk beds for their children, more rooms, more electronics.”
