The RV Learning Center recently received several donations, according to the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA).
Contributions include:
• The Ron and Lisa Fenech Foundation Inc. donated $25,000 to the RVDA Foundation’s RV Learning Center. “At Keystone RV, we are very committed to improving our customers’ RV experience,” said Ron Fenech, president and CEO of Keystone RV Co., Goshen, Ind. “It is great to be able to support my dealer friends as we work together to improve our industry.”
• Alpin Haus, based in Amsterdam, N.Y., pledged $15,000 over the next three years, bringing the dealership’s total contribution to $17,500. “No matter how much we know about the RV business, there is always room to learn more,” said Andy Heck, vice president of Alpin Haus. “Having a resource like the RV Learning Center is vital to continuing education.”
• Rivers Bus & RV Sales in Jacksonville, Fla., contributed $2,500 to the RV Learning Center, bringing the dealership’s total contribution to more than $8,000. “The RV Learning Center is a great resource for our employees,” said Larry Schaffer, owner of Rivers Bus & RV Sales. “The curriculum-based programs for dealership personnel help prepare our businesses to meet challenges today and tomorrow.”
The RV Learning Center provides retailers and their employees with ways to operate dealerships through education resources including publications, distance learning, live workshops, online products, training, and certification programs for RV dealership personnel.
