Two recreational vehicle retailers recently pledged money to the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) Education Foundation Inc.’s RV Learning Center.
RVDA reported that Tom Stinnett, owner of Tom Stinnett RV Freedom Center in Clarksville, Ind., increased his total pledge to the RV Learning Center to $100,000. In addition, RV Superstore of Mocksville, N.C., dedicated $15,000 to the center, which provides resources and training for dealership personnel to help upgrade and improve operations.
“People have different passions in life and one of mine is ensuring that the RV industry will continue to thrive,” Stinnett said. “For our dealerships to prosper, we need to make sure our employees can access continuing education opportunities – such as the programs being developed through The Ohio State University by the RV Learning Center.”
“Our world is changing every day,” said Jeff Plemmons, president of RV Superstore. “If a dealership refuses to change with the times, it cannot survive. The RV Learning Center is an excellent resource to gain knowledge about RV dealership operations. Every dealership should show its support.”
