The Nasdaq composite closed within 4 points of its low for 2000, and RV company stocks also took it on the chin Wednesday.

The Nasdaq fell 72 points, or 2.2%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average also dropped 111 points, or 1.1%, on Wednesday.

Investors apparently were not impressed with Winnebago’s record earnings for the year ended Aug. 26. Winnebago revealed its earnings today, but the company’s stock declined 9/16 to close at 12 3/16.
