Many RV stocks saw significant gains in Tuesday’s (Sept. 12) trading as oil prices plummeted and the Dow Jones Average gained just over 100 points.
Of the 15 industry-related public companies regularly tracked by RVBUSINESS.com, 12 firms posted increases for the day.
Three OEMs – Thor Industries Inc., Winnebago Industries Inc. and Skyline Corp. – were up over a dollar while Monaco Coach Corp.’s shares improved 84 cents.
A quick recap of winners on the day showed:
• Coachmen Industries Inc. was up 78 cents to $11.36
• Drew Industries Inc. gained 63 cents to $26.40
• Equity Lifestyle Properties improved 86 cents to $44.68
• Fleetwood Enterprises Inc. was up 47 cents to $7.22
• Flexsteel Industries Inc. gained 20 cents to $12.95
• Featherlite Inc. was up 1 cent at $6.36
• Monaco shares closed at $11.50
• National RV Holdings Inc. was up 4 cents to $3.16
• Skyline rose $1.46 to $38.58
• Spartan Motors Inc. improved 14 cents to $16.94
• Thor increased $1.54 to close at $43.13
• Winnebago gained $1.62 to $29.84
