RV company stocks participated in the market rally today (Oct. 10) which was sparked by positive earnings reports from some major companies and the belief that the war against terrorism is proceeding well.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 2%, or 188 points, while the NASDAQ Composite soared 3.6%, or 56 points.

Fleetwood and Winnebago were today’s big winners among RV companies. Fleetwood shares gained $1.10, or 10%, to close at $11.80, while Winnebago climbed $1.60, or 7%, to close at $25.49.

Monaco shares also gained 91 cents, or 6%, to close at $15.86.
