This is the second – and final — week for RV industry people to respond to the first question posed as part of “RVB’s All-Industry Survey” regarding the future of this industry’s key annual trade shows.

Here’s the current question for those in the industry inclined to submit their opinions by clicking here: What’s the best future format for national shows — the Open House, RVDA Con/Expo and RVIA’s Louisville Show?

Industry people can also register opinions and monitor ongoing percentage results by clicking on the new survey banner on the right side of RVBUSINESS.com’s home page.

A clear majority of respondents so far prefer consolidation of all three shows.

But what do you think?

“We got a good response last week to our questions about the shows and where that’s all headed,” reports RVB Publisher Sherman Goldenberg, “and we’re hoping to at least match that response this week before we move on to next survey question.”

The survey, administered by RVBusiness and sponsored by Blue Ox, a supplier of steering, towing, hitching and braking systems, is slated to run for the rest of 2012 and will feature new questions every two weeks. RVB will then generate a summary report near the end of the year. Anonymous essay responses are accepted, although RVB and Blue Ox reserve the right to screen those entries.
