In an effort to gauge dealer sentiment on an array of topics, RVBusiness in conjunction with GE Capital Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) is preparing to send out a short, 20-question dealer survey later today (Feb. 19) to hundreds of North American RV retailers.
The fast-paced, non-scientific “2015 RVB/GE Dealer Survey” is designed to generate a summary look back at 2014 and a speculative glance forward into retailers’ outlooks for 2015.
The results of the relatively brief survey are to appear on RVBUSINESS.com and in the March/April issue of RVBusiness magazine. They will also be reviewed by CDF’s RV Group President Tim Hyland during the 3rd Annual RV Industry Power Breakfast May 14 at the RV/MH Hall of Fame in Elkhart, Ind.
“RVBusiness has done some surveys in the past,” stated RVB Publisher Sherman Goldenberg. “But we’ve never assembled an annualized snapshot like this – a poll that should reflect the attitudes and outlooks of retailers on the front lines of towable and motorized RV sales during an upbeat period for North America’s RV industry.”
Questions posed in the 2015 RVB/GE Dealer Survey, developed with an eye toward brevity, are general and non-intrusive in nature, said Goldenberg, adding that participants are being asked to respond within a week — by the end of business next Thursday (Feb. 26).
